It is harmful to drink cold drinks when you are hot.

When we finish our exercise our Moms always say: “Do not drink cold water! It is bad for your body... You are going to get a cramp in your stomach” why do they tell us that?
In some cases when we ignore this advice and drink cold water, we feel that our entire chest is paralyzed or like little cramps, but we don’t know what it is maybe it is because we have this idea. A lot of naive people believe in that and we want to know the truth. So we search about this popular myth.
What we know is that the cold water is bad because our body is hot, so cold and hot is not a good combination. But when we asked to some friends they told us that it is fake, that drink cold water after exercise is good because you sweat you expulse a lot of energy and you can recover it with cold water.
Doctor Christine Luft says: “When you're in hot weather, you lose extra fluids. Drinking cold water actually helps to cool you from the inside lowering your body temperature, which also helps to reduce your perceived effort.”
To conclude we think this is false, after checking the opinions of the doctors and web pages with a lot of information we realize that drinking cold water is not bad when we are hot, on the contrary it helps us to be in our normal temperature.
 We found an interesting picture..

Review: "(500) Days of Summer"

"(500) Days of Summer" The genre of this film is a comedy drama, it was written by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber. The stars are Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Tom Hansen) and Zoey Deschanel (Summer Finn). The film uses a nonlinear narrative structure with the story based upon its male protagonist and his memory-driven look at a failed relationship. The premiere of this amazing film was on October 26, 2009 in Mexico.

There was some things that I really liked about the film. First, in the poster says: " This is not a love story. This is a story about love. " , this saying symbolizes perfectly the movie. I like the role of "Summer" I feel a little identified with her because she guided herself by her beliefs and not by what people say. The story has been controversial, because Summer doesn't believe in love, neither in the relationships. Tom begins to narrate how he met Summer, how they started to go out but without commitment, how he fell in love with her and how all the good things started to change to bad.

The only thing I didn't like about the story was that I would have liked to know how it would have been if she had stayed with Tom.

This film give us another perspective about love and why things happen for a reason. I am unwilling to recommend to very sentimental people but I recommend it to people with an open mind who want to see a good movie.

The sale of wild animals as pets

Dear Editor,
I completely disagree with the idea of "The sale of wild animals as pets".
I believe that wild animals have to stay in their natural habitat, for example if you buy a tiger and put it inside your house, it could be dangerous for your family because it is a wild animal. They were born to be free and to get their own food. I prefer to have them out and far away from my family. Famous people just buy exotic animals to show off and they don't care bout the endangered species or the domino effect.
Smugglers don't have all the blame, people have it too. They are who call and ask for animals.
On the other hand if the buyer really wants an animal and is going to take care of it, is good. Maybe the animal is in a bad situation or in a bad habitat and it would be better with an owner. Why don't people care about animals?

e-mail

To whom it may concern:

I was walking around campus when I saw this notice about increasing the security on it. I don't think it is a good idea some of your measures.

I asked to some students their opinion about installing security cameras in many locations on campus and the majority doesn't want a person who sees what they do all day. They will feel stalked.

About the electronic ID cards, some of the students doesn't have a car and their moms have to drive them to the campus and when they arrive the line to enter will be long and the moms, brothers, sisters will be waiting and maybe they will be arrived late to their schools or jobs, like the students on the campus. Compiling databases of all students' routine activities, to be honest I don't think it is necessary.

I think that you have to save the money and repair some school seats or the bathrooms, or maybe buy a new computers and equipment make easier the lessons or the class. Maybe you can buy a bus to the commute students because not all of them have a car.
